These terms govern your use of BookMyBib, an online event-registration platform that connects runners who want to discover and register for events with organizers who host those events. By creating an account, registering for an event, or listing an event on BookMyBib, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. 1. Who we are and what BookMyBib does BookMyBib is a registration platform and a technology intermediary. We provide the tools that let event organizers publish events, open registration, collect fees and communicate with participants, and that let runners find events and manage their registrations in one account. BookMyBib does not itself organize, host, time or run events. 2. Our role is that of an intermediary For every event listed on BookMyBib, the event organizer is the host and is solely responsible for that event — including its accuracy, conduct, safety, timing, results, scheduling, venue, refunds and all communications and commitments made to participants. BookMyBib is not a party to the agreement between a runner and an organizer, and does not guarantee that any event will take place, proceed as described, or be conducted in any particular way. Any dispute relating to an event — including its cancellation, postponement, timing or results — is between the participant and the organizer. We will make reasonable efforts to help connect the two parties, but the organizer remains responsible for resolving it. 3. Runner accounts and registrations To register for an event you may need to create an account and provide accurate personal details. You are responsible for the information you submit, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. A completed registration is a contract between you and the event organizer, subject to that organizer's own rules and eligibility requirements. 4. Organizer accounts and hosting events Organizers who host events on BookMyBib are responsible for the legality, accuracy and delivery of their events, for setting registration terms, pricing, categories, capacity and refund policies, and for complying with all applicable laws, permits and safety obligations. Organizers must handle participant data received through BookMyBib responsibly and only for purposes related to their event. BookMyBib may charge platform or processing fees for hosting, which are disclosed to the organizer before use. 5. Payments Registration payments are processed through our payment partner, PayU. BookMyBib does not store your full card details. By making a payment you also agree to PayU's terms and acknowledge that payment success or failure is determined by the payment gateway and your bank. Fees collected on an organizer's behalf are settled to that organizer in line with our platform terms. 6. Refunds and cancellations Refunds and cancellations are governed by each event organizer's own policy, which is shown on the event during registration. BookMyBib does not set refund policies and does not guarantee refunds. Where an organizer approves a refund, we will process it through the original payment method via PayU. Platform or processing fees may be non-refundable. 7. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct You agree not to: - submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, or register on behalf of others without authority; - list events you are not authorized to host, or events that are unlawful or unsafe; - misuse participant data, send unsolicited communications, or breach anyone's privacy; - attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape or gain unauthorized access to the platform; - use BookMyBib for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms. 8. Intellectual property The BookMyBib platform, brand and software are owned by us or our licensors. Organizers retain rights to the event content they upload but grant BookMyBib a licence to display and process it to operate the platform. 9. Limitation of liability BookMyBib provides the platform on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of organizers or runners, for events that are cancelled, changed or not conducted as described, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. 10. Changes to these terms We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of BookMyBib after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. 11. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to applicable law. 12.
